s official performing arts group, the PolyU Theatre 理大剧团 is committed to broadening the artistic horizons of members of the PolyU community and nurturing future theatre talent.

We are now looking for bright and promising actors and actresses. Selected candidates may be offered roles in a possible production to be staged between November and December 2017. III. Notes to Applicants 1. The audition and drama production will be conducted in Cantonese. 2. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified in mid-April by phone and/or by email with details and schedule of the audition. Please make sure you provide valid contact information in the application. 3. You are required to read a short script during your audition. Please select ONE excerpt provided in the appendix. For male applicants, please choose either the character ^鸡眼大哥 or 陈九龄;

for female applicants, please choose either the character 九嫂子 or 小媳妇. You are welcome to invite your friend(s) to read the lines of the other character(s). If you are on your own, we will arrange a partner for you. 4. No stage props will be provided for your audition. Candidates are responsible for preparing their own props or pre-corded accompaniment. 5. We will film and photograph during the audition for promotional purposes. 6.
