《Baby Becky Helps Her Mother》教学设计 抚宁县骊城学区第一小学 骆玉芳

一、教材理解 《Baby Becky Helps Her Mother 》是《冀教版小学英语》(三年级起始版)第七册第一单元的故事课.

教材非常注重学生语言应用能力的培养,开发学生的自主学习能力,培养创新能力.本教材在整体构思、内容安排、活动设计和教学方法都采用了与学生紧密联系的生活实际,真正体现了语言的交际功能,为培养学生运用英语进行交流打下良好的基础.

二、设计理念 吸纳交际教学思想,注重学生语言应用能力的培养,体现语言的交际功能,贯彻语言应用的基本原则,把知识和技能目标融会在完成任务的过程之中.以话题为纲,以交际功能为主线,兼顾语言结构,逐步引导学生运用英语完成有实际目的的语言任务,即话题---功能---结构---任务.

三、学情简介 本节课的授课对象是小学六年级的学生,他们想象力丰富,喜欢幻想,对事物充满好奇,乐于参加表演,急于得到别人特别是老师的肯定.所以在本节课教学中,首先培养学生的学习兴趣,使学生掌握一定的语言知识.其次,培养学生利用所学的语言知识解决实际问题、进行交际的能力.最后,培养学生的合作、互助意识,以发展学生的思维,着眼于培养学生创新意识.

四、教学目标

(一)知识与技能目标: 根据课文大意,学会回答课件中的五个问题.

(二)过程与方法目标: 能够复述整个故事.

(三)情感态度与价值观目标: 培养学生热爱生活,体会父母的艰辛.

五、教学重难点 在掌握课文大意的基础上对故事进行续编和续写.

六、教学方法 通过读前、读中、读后三步教学法,由浅入深,由易到难,由已知到未知,循序渐进地深化教学内容.展开以教师为主导,以学生为主体的师生双边活动.

七、教学准备:教学课件、单词卡片、学习纸.

八、课时安排:一课时.

九、教学过程 Step 1: Warming up 1. Greeting T: Class begins! Hello, boys and girls! How are you today? S: Hello, Miss Luo. I'm fine, thanks. And you? T: I'm fine, too. Thank you. 2. Sing a song together Let's sing a song together. (设计意图:在与学生相互用英语问好,进行简单的英语交流后,通过齐唱英语歌的活动使每个学生都参与了进来,同时也复习了本单元的的重点单词,以此为学生创造一个轻松和谐的教学氛围,把学生带到英语学习乐园.) Step 2: Prepare to read 1. Baby Becky T: (After listening the song) Do you like drawing? Look, who is she?(画Baby Becky的简笔画) T: Do you remember her? What can Baby Becky say? What does Baby Becky like to do? T: Baby Becky likes to help her mother. (板书:Baby Becky Helps Her Mother) 2. Baby Becky's mother T:Look, who is she?(画Baby Becky's mother的简笔画)Where is she? Can you guess? (设计意图:通过简笔画让学生初步了解Baby Becky's mother) 3. In the kitchen What's in the kitchen? Can you guess? What's in Baby Becky's kitchen? What does Baby Becky do in the kitchen? 画出dishes, refrigerator, stove的简笔画 4. In the bathroom What's in the bathroom? Can you guess? What's in Baby Becky's bathroom? What does Baby Becky do in the bathroom? 画出bathtub, toilet的简笔画 5. In the living room? What's in the living room? Can you guess? What's in Baby Becky's living room? What does Baby Becky do in the living room? 画出couch, clock的简笔画 (设计意图:通过简笔画和单词卡片,使学生对故事的内容进行预测,激发学生的阅读兴趣.) Step 3: Read 1. Listen to the tape and answer the question "What does Baby Becky say?" 2. Open your books turn to page 69, read the story and answer the questions.(课件出示五个问题) 3. 小组合作完成调查表. 4. Retell the whole story. (设计意图:通过自读课文回答问题、小组合作等形式,让学生在教师提供各种信息的基础上,对课文的大意进行整体的把握.) Step 4: After read Group work: Imagine what Baby Becky wants to do next? What will happen? Free talk: What do you learn from the story? (设计意图:在了解课文大意的前提下让学生对故事进行续编,提高创造能力,培养学生热爱生活,体会父母的艰辛.) Step 4: Homework Listen and read the story. Write a funny story in your house. (设计意图:培养学生自己创编故事的能力.)
