The parts draw only 70mA of quiescent current and are available in both an 8-lead PDIP and SOIC package. The XRD5408/10/12 have a

3 wire serial port with an output allowing the user to daisy chain several of them together. The serial port will support both Microwiret, SPIt, and QSPIt standards.
