Cleaning and sterilisation - - After each use, disassemble all parts (fig.A) and clean them thoroughly in warm water and some washing-up liquid.You can also clean all parts on the top rack of the dishwasher. - - Do not use abrasive or anti- bacterial cleaning agents or chemical solvents. - - Do not place parts directly on surfaces that have been cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaners. - - Food colouring can discolour parts. - - After cleaning, sterilise the spout cup in boiling water. The spout cup is also suitable for all standard sterilisation methods. Storage - - For hygiene and maintenance, disassemble the spout cup (fig.A) and store it in a dry and covered container. - - Keep the spout cup away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Tip:The drinking top and bottle of the spout cup are compatible with Philips Avent Natural bottles. You can also contact the Philips Consumer Care Centre in your country. - - Do not sterilise any part of the spout cup in the microwave without using a microwave steriliser. - - Make sure all parts are properly assembled (fig. B) before you give the spout cup to your child. - - This spout cup is intended for use with diluted drinks. Water and milk are the best drinks for children of any age. - - Thick, fizzy or pulpy drinks may block the valve and cause it to break or leak. - - This spout cup is not designed for preparing infant formula. Do not use the spout cup to mix and shake infant formula as this can clog the holes and cause the spout cup to leak. - - Make sure that the valve is properly assembled. See the illustrations on how to assemble the spout cup (fig. B). - - Do not overtighten the drinking top on the spout cup. - - SCF751 only: Do not use the spout as a soother. - - Do not use the spout cup with a glass bottle. - - Do not put the spout cup in the freezer compartment. - - To prevent scalding, let hot liquid cool down before you fill the spout cup. - - SCF751 only: Spouts are available separately.
